Good Afternoon guys, I hope your week has been good so far. Well, I found this nice condition 1955 Jefferson penny. I was wondering what do you think about the grade. VF? Is that MD I am seeing as well on the coin? Should I try to clean the spots from the coin or should I just leave it. That's a lucky find in change. It looks like a LINCOLN cent with a little rub and corrosion.

It's high EF to low AU but will never be worth more than a few cents unless someone needs it really really bad. It's a nice find, there's just little market for it.

I few long soaks in distilled water, followed by a light qtip roll shouldn't hurt it one bit. No rubbing just lightly remove the spots from the surface.
