I just finished making my website dedicated Russian Banknotes:

    Russian-Money.Blogspot.com

The Imperial section is up (1898-1917), and I will update regularly to have Provisional and Soviet notes as well. Lots of high quality images up. Comments and suggestions always welcomed! :D

Very nice! It's a good read, and the images are great.

The only thing that seemed odd was the "newer post"/"older post" links, which didn't work predictably. I had to use the navigation on the left side.

Yeah I hoped people would prefer the menu, it's easier to navigate using that one... but I'll rearrange the posts so that clicking on "older" and "newer" will follow the same order as the navigation menu.

Thanks! I'll be adding the Provisional Government section in about a week, and then people will really get to see how vast and different the different notes were from each period, especially the provisional to Soviet transitions and mid 20th century... thanks for checking it out!

    New section up!

I just finished putting up a new section on my site!

The Russian Provisional Government notes are now up. There are several notes from 1917, the two from 1918, and then 4 un-issued specimens of 1919.

Here's a link to the introduction section for the new stuff:
    Provisional Government

    Enjoy :kewl:

very cool, i have a 1909 25 Rubles, as well as a 1910 100 not in very good condition, but they have been in my family since they were printed so pretty cool

    New section posted!

After a long pause, I put more banknotes up on my Russian banknotes website:

    russian-money.blogspot.com

I added a RSFSR section, which is being finished up, and will continue on into the Soviet Union section... more notes to come :)
