Just picked up a roll of "54 pennies and this looks to me like doubling on EPU. The doubling looks to be to big to be MD but you know I'm trying to learn. What do you guys think?

You are probably thinking a DDR but I'm not seeing it. Looks like a worn die to me.

Looks to be die deterioration doubling, so not MD, but it is still worthless doubling.

The site linked is great for understanding true doubled dies and the forms of doubling that are common and don't hold premiums. https://www.doubleddie.com/1801.html

For LWC DDRs, one quick check to perform is to look at the dots in EPU. Dots will elongate (direction dependent on the class of doubling experienced). The MD you see there would roughly equate to Class 2 doubling, but the dots are not elongated toward the rim. A good indicator that your specimen is not doubled.

Neither DDO nor DDR in my opinion sorry. Thanks for sharing and good luck.
