Hey man, what's up!! I think it was ground down with a machine Post Mint( grinder, sander, wire brush etc. ) Take your pick. Later Dude!! :)

Post mint damage (PMD) is my guess as well. A grinder or some other power tool maybe. Hard tellin.

If what you are trying to suggest actually occurred, there would still be a rim on the reverse. Your reverse appears to have been ground down or chemically removed, post mint

    DEFDAM - Definitely Damaged
Altered post mint. Showing the Zinc core.
Not an error coin of any kind. And definitely no premium.

And dust to dust. With the zinc exposed it will rot to dust, make no mistake. And not an error coin

Need clearer pictures to be sure, but this might be a split planchet. Measure the thickness and weigh it, and report back.

The circular swirl marks makes it look like it was done with a sander of some kind. Not a mint error, welcome to CT

Very little respect is shown to cent coins around the world, and this is one of them. PMD, not an error or worth even a cent as it is, but some cashier will accept it.

With these types of damaged pennies, I usually roll them with all my change and give exchange them for paper money at the bank every few months. The bank would exchange it anyways if asked. And occasionally I'll toss a hand-full of severely damaged coins into the massive sand box at the local park, for the old guy who metal detects at 5am every other week. Sometimes he needs a little excitement.

Make sure to include the occasional error coin @VistaCruiser69 for @Heavymetal. That’ll raise the excitement level up a notch.
