I would like to Thank all of you for your well wishes.
I must admit that I am afraid for my son more than I am for myself...
As this week passes by it becomes heavier on my mind...

I will not sign on after this Thursday for a while until I have a better picture of whats going on. I am hopeful that one of Boston's best will be able to remove the tissue in question and that recovery will be swift as well.

It is out of my hands for the moment.

    Thank you friends  :thumb:

I don't think that was called for. When you've spent some time here and gotten to know some of the folks around here a little better, maybe you can make such a statement and get away with it (possibly inferring jest). One post under your belt doesn't allow you that latitude....

    What he said

Not sure how some folks know soooo much so soon.

But post #1 should be on a different topic in a more productive manner, RN.

What else do you know? Could you please at least start a thread on thaT topic?

Not quite sure what you're angling at. Maybe you're saying that this thread doesn't belong in this particular section? If that's so then let the mods sort it out but up till now they haven't stepped in...as to what I know, I'll defer to your signature line.

i THINK D~U~M was referring to RustyNail, Not you P38.

Oh. Was RustyMale perhaps RB's DI? Then he would have the leeway to be so crude.

Otherwise, My thoughts are with RB's & his family.

Folks I appreciate the support, thank you. I suppose everyone has a right to say what they want to say. I am not looking for any one's sympathy, over the past 4-5 years here I feel I have made some nice online friends. I decided to post this Thread despite what may come from some who visit it.

To be honest, I manned up 7 years ago knowing that this day was coming.
You see when my son was born I had such horrible symptoms that I had to have whats called a fundoplication to stop the acid from causing damage to the soft tissues. I was told that cancer was an outcome of this type of disease Barretts Esophagus and I have come to terms with it. I am not ready to give in by any means and my Doc is one of the best the field has to offer.

My thoughts are completely about my son..the collection is completely form him as well, I am just the lucky guy to get to put it together for him.
So people will be people and I take no offense in what has been posted. I also thought long and hard before I did post this. I truly enjoy all of you guy's that work so hard to build your collections. There are some very nice collections here that many folks have and the vigor in which I have seen you all grasp Paper Money is just simply great! I like you had to start from scratch and truth be told, I am a nobody in Numismatics..just a collector, a person captivated by our Nations History of Security Instruments. Fortunate enough to have meet you all and some of the "somebody's " that are truly in Numismatics.

I thank you all...I am not done yet, just out of the loop for a while.

We all have people who do not care for us one way or another..I am not excluded from that at all. I think I will now sign off with this post..I hope to see you all perhaps in a few weeks down the road.

    God Bless..

    Regards,

    Rick

Although I haven't really noticed it Rick it's quite understandable.

You're stressed and blowing off a bit of steam. So be it.

Nothing but the best wishes emanating from the Clembo household my friend. Looking forward to your posts AFTER all is over and you're on your way to a speedy recovery.

You've always been a great guy as long as I can remember. We haven't always agreed on everything but you have been a class act the entire time. No one can take that away from you with stupid insults especially those who don't know you or know what you are going through. When you walk a mile in a man's shoes, then you have a right to voice your opinion. Only petty people have to kick others when they are down. Take care!

as read on my daughter's high school notebook:

Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, you're a mile away, and you have his shoes.

    LOL! true story!

Very good saying Mike! My Irish Grangmother's favorite saying was :"May those who love us,Love us and those that don't love us .May God turn their hearts:And if he doesn"t turn their hearts May he turn their ankles,So we'll know them by their Limping" an old Gaelic Blessing.
