Discussion on Holed US Type Coins

    I wanted to start a discussion on holed coins. They are out there, what do you think about collecting them? I know they are defaced and have minimal value in the state they are in, but the history and education you can learn from some of these coins in my opinion outweighs that.

    I have been putting together a Dansco Type full of these little guys for about five years now, I attached a few pics out of my personal collection.

    I feel the same way. Holed coins have a history that uncirculated coins lack. I have quite a few myself.
