1843 Nova Scotia Half Penny-Fake?

    It looks like a regular issue NS-1E or NS-1F that has taken a beating, not the crude cast counterfeits. I don't really see any evidence of casting. The edges are engrailed and the letters and devices, while beat up, look like the official issues in Charleston Standard Catalog of Canadian Colonial Tokens.
