    Heres the issue
i just got two different raw ms grade morgan
    one is an 1882 o/s and the other is a 1878 7tf 79' reverse
So does the 79 reverse have a weak strike? mine has a great strike on observe but what appears to be a weak strike on the reserve. Any info is appreciated.

My 1878/79 reverse Morgan has a weak strike on both sides. This coin has no contact marks or other dents or dings at all, but Liberty's hair on the obverse and the eagle's breast feathers on the reverse look somewhat worn. It looks like somebody was rubbing the coin for good luck or something like that.

Normally they are found well struck. But the next time you want to know about a Morgan you can always check - HERE
