I must admit that despite having collecting the coinage of Lugdunum for about 20 years I hadn't been aware of this type before until I saw an example. There are examples on acsearch and in Bastien but they are all relatively scarce with between 1 and 4 examples of the variations known to Bastien. Admittedly this example is not in great condition suffering from some extensive natural wear but I am still happy to have it. @maridvnvm Good find. Would you be kind enough to share the title or titles of the Bastien books regarding the Lugdunum mint? I have been idly searching but struggling due to the language barrier. Many thanks. Edit: Found it! Le Monnayage de l'atelier de Lyon, in multiple volumes.
And in this case I an citing Volume VII. "Bastien, P. Le monnayage de I 'atelier de Lyon, Diocletien et ses coregents avant la reforme monetaire (285 - 294). Numismatique Romaine VII. (Wetteren, 1972)."
