Here is a coin from Crispus, obv: Crispus-nobcaes, rev Beatatranqillitas from the Lyon mint. ( C/R//PLG ) RIC VII nr 132. The text on the front is 5a, bust is B4, His clothing is slightly cut out in the front, what are the curves in this cut? Part of protection or does he have a push-up bra here ? Please feel free to show coins with strange looking obverse objects. Thanks.
I think the obverse may be double struck. Among other things, Crispus seems to fave an extra set of eyes.
dltsrq, I hadn't noticed that yet. Thanks for the attention. Here again the same obverse, coin rotated 90°. Gives a different picture. Here he has a very large ear. I like 'strange' coins.
