A hand with a Vam please 1880 P

    From the info provided I would say its a VAM-1.

    It's not VAM 1. You have doubled 880, possibly also the 1. The first 8 appears to be doubled on the right inside and the lower right outside of the of the lower loop. The second 8 is doubled on the lower left outside of the top loop, but this is the case on all 1880 coins. The 0 is doubled on the left inside, and doesn't have any "pincers" from being doubled at the top. This date has been studied fairly closely, so I should be able to attribute it. Maybe not from the pictures, but in hand wouldn't be a problem.
