I’ve had this coin since it first came out I think. I opened a box and had the entire 5-coin set. The label says it all. I keep getting reflections when taking photos but the coin is clean. Probably a 70 in today’s grading.

    I'm wondering where they see a 69 and not a 70. Really? I would re-submit it if I had the money. ;)

Re-submit? Not worth the time or money.. Just 1 point. Will it make any difference?

The attributors use extreme magnification to see things you can't see with the naked eye. It could be anything such as a hairline scratch or some contamination.

I have 2 full sets of two different years and 4 of something else that I haven’t opened yet. They all look like 70’s but I just don’t think it’s worth my time let alone the money. I’m happy with them as they are.

Backwoods, Bayou or possibly a swamp location. Lol
I was stationed at Fort Sill back in the bid 1970’s so I’m somewhat familiar with Louisiana. I saw my only alligator in the wild while driving from Leesville to Alexandria on Route 28. He was on the younger side as only about 10’ long.

The alligators are primarily seen off the edges of the Louisiana Swamps. Lol! Sounds better?

Gators have varieties just like coins. Just not as pretty as a Chickasaw Quarter.
