Definitely fake and also think why is such a coin not certified at this level?an obvious clue.

 

You can get any amount of them on Etsy.. A mass produced fake.


The seller on Craigslist is either a scam artist or an idiot!

Yeah... not at all real. Not a particularly convincing one.

 

This, along with the 1909 VDBS and 1794 half dollar fakes are all on Etsy as I posted a day or two ago. They also have many of these on LISTIA including minor 19th century coins like 3 cent nickel pieces. China has expanded significantly from the older, rare coins to many moderns. There's a lot of money in it for them.
