    Good morning!

A friend asked me to figure out what this was - found it in a 2x2 labeled "India Gold Mohur." It's convex on the first side and concave on the second (hence placing a worn Canadian 5 cent under one edge to keep it level.)

    Weight: ~ .5g
Diameter: just over 8mm on longest side, just over 7mm on the shortest side.

Apologies for the fibers on the coin, just pulled it straight from the 2x2 to get a quick image.

What do you think? Genuine? Gold? Denomination and era?

    Thank you!
