I found this in my $100 half dollar coin rolling today. I am going to need some advice, suggestions, possible value, would you have it graded. I could not get a video to load of me turning it. These two pictures are the same coin flipped. No date of course but excellent shape. Weight 11.04 oz.

Maybe not such a big find. A friend told me it is a magic coin. Worth maybe $5. Is it possible it could be real and how do you find out.

Keep it in your pocket for times when flipping a coin is important. Just be sure to remember to call tails. I have a double reverse quarter for which I paid $10.

Definitely a magicians coin. The first picture is the shell (machined) and the second picture is the Kennedy that was altered to fit into the shell.

Not a mint error of any kind.

Put it in a jar with a lid and give it a good shake. The two pieces should separate.

These magic coins either screw apart with some pressure on both sides or often there is a spot along the edge somewhere that when you squeeze both sides together hard the coin will pop open.

If the person who produced this coin used a two part epoxy, it will never come apart.

I've found 2 nickels during CRH events. They get released to the wild occasionally and end up in a collector's hand.
