yes i like RickieB try to get the best notes available for my collection if possible. the $10 replaces a lower grade that i already have. thank you i agree 100% thanks they have a great home now :thumb:
when i starting collecting US currency i had seemed to have an abundance of Chicago notes. i just decided from there to try to collect all small sized notes 1928-present including star notes. you can click on the link in my signature to see the whole collection. there is currently over 400 notes not including the ones i just posted. i know at one time me and RickieB were trying to get a group of other collectors to all pick a different district. He is new york and i of course am Chicago :thumb:
Sounds like a fun and interesting challenge, i think most of my nicer notes are Cleveland i would like to maybe give it a shot one day
great notes, especially the low serial sequential stars! It's always nice to see some high-quality notes like these.
yes i try to buy the best i can afford at the time. hopefully i can add some moee in the near future :thumb: i had a bunch of 2 digit serials i was eying but the seller pulled them for no good reason. i asked them why and they never responded back :headbang::headbang::headbang:
That's correct.. I began the collection back in early 2007 and suggested that we have 12 members and each pick a District to collect..it is a huge goal and one that needs a solid financial plan as well. What Urban did not mention is the denomination that we are collecting is $1- $1000 notes. While I am not accepting anything under AU58 for my collection, I realize that the completion of my goal may be postponed a bit due to the shear lack of material available. I saw my first $100 Series 1928 Note last Friday and it is currently the Top Pop note and had a nice little price tag of 4K on it...getting sidetracked from the Small Size Collection is easy to do when you start throwing in Large Size notes as well...so welcome to the forum, hope you pick Cleveland as I have collected some really nice Cleveland notes that you just may want some day... Nice additions Urban..:thumb: RickieB
