looked at a LOT of these and for under 100 I think i did very very well (under list but not by much lol) and to be honest, I think she's a lil under graded I'd proabably put her closer to 30 maybe even 35... but then I'm judging by similar slabbed coins vs truely grading her but even still the pics look much better then a 20
Love your coin! Always nice when you get a Bust half dime or dime with the feather detail left on the eagle. Kind of on the lookout for an affordable but detailed Bust 10c currently, both large diameter and small diameter, but am in no hurry to buy either.
Nice coin and graded appropriately. As with all grading, there is some wiggle room depending upon who is looking. A generous viewer might call this a 25.
High point fading due to circulation on the obverse the reverse is better. Very nice coin with appropriate grade. Thanks for sharing.
Nice coin! The very first coin I ever bought was an 1835 half dime, at a small show I attended with my Dad in the late '60s. I then proceeded to not buy another coin for nearly 40 years. I still have it , though.
Nice coin. I looked it up in the Red Book and found there are several versions of your coin, but at VF20, it's worth somewhere near $120. No matter what you paid for it, you did good, son.
She's here!! and yes in hand she's VF25-30 rather then the 30-35 i got from sellers pics, but I'm still quite happy with her (yeah yeah 20-25 but leave me my delusions of grandure )
Now you own one.... you need to attribute one...https://web.archive.org/web/2018040...23-die-pairings-pictures-r-factors--more.html Welcome to the really dark side...lol
I think I have to agree with what was said about LM-3.. as much as I want it to be 4 or 11 I'm 99% positive they are right with LM-3
