This guy seems to have an awful lot of uncirculated red early wheat cents and IH cents. It is possible that he stumbled upon a great collection that was stored perfectly since the 1920's, but to me this seems highly unlikely. Is it possible that he is trying to pass off fakes as MS quality coins? Check out his other auctions and you will see what I mean. http://cgi.ebay.com/1927-D-Lincoln-...mQQptZCoins_US_Individual?hash=item439dafd53d
That pasty pinkish-orange look on his coins he calls RD can either be a good cleaning or it could be his lighting and white balance. No way to tell unless you see the coins in hand. I wouldn't bet the coins are fake though.
Hmmm. Seems others aren't so sure either. A lot of auctions about to expire with no bids, or his opening price is scaring them off.
He gives descriptions that seem to suggest he is knowledgable about coins, and offers a 7 day return policy. But, I still have a hard time spending $100 or $200 on a coin I've only seen pictures of.
I think I just figured out everything. All I had to do was look at the name vicbrenner He must be VDB's great great grand son and he is selling off VDB's personal collection
Wow, I even looked at the seller's name and nothing registered. Good catch! I think my brain is getting tired anyway...
