That is refered to as a "BIE" error. it is actually just a die chip but it was common over several years. It was once quite collectable but people have come to realize it is just another die chip. Richard

Just a die chip, they were very popular in the sixties the BIE error. I have a million of them.:bigeyes: JIM
Much more popular in the '50's, look for the 1957 BIE error with die chips in the date. Now those I have a bunch of.
Canon EOS Rebel XT 35mm DSLR, 6.3 MP. I need a macro lens for this error stuff though. The camera is better than the photographer. I'm thinking of picking up a Pentax 12MP
