The 3CS newly available pieces from Legend that just came in are wonderful. These are duplicates from the collection of a 3CS specialist owner.

 

Here is weak photos of an 1866 Nickle 3-Cent piece. It is several miles away in a safe deposit book. I have learned how to take better photos.

look at the position of the 1.

Yours is far too low --

most likely a contemporary fake.

Which could be worth more than a real one. Obviously it circulated for a lot of years.
