Who ever cleaned that Isabella needs a good ol' fashioned Chris/Smith type slap for doing it.

Yeah, I want one but can't afford the $300 - $400 it would take just to get a decent one.

I've got 20 to 30 of the Colombian Expo halves. It was the first coin in a flip that I ever saw. My Dad kept it in his "lock box" and every now and then when he was looking for some important paper in the box, he'd let me hold it.
As I held it, I'd dream about standing on the deck of the Santa Maria, next to Columbus, as we sailed the world in search of pirate treasure.

Such are the dreams of a child.

You could go along ways toward an Isabella by selling off part of your stash of Columbians. I’ve got a circulated one I got as a kid that I will never sell though.

An Isabella is on my list as well.

Considering their condition I would have to sell all of them to get even close to an Isabella.
Though none of them are the actual coin from my Dad (That coin was lost long ago due to familial shenanigans.) They all represent that coin, so I seem to be trying to replace that memory with a quantity of similar coins. Each time I buy one, and then hold it in my hand, the memories of those times come back, and those memories feel good, really good.

    Thanks

The Isabella was a special coin. Lots of fun history behind it. I remember having to save up for one.
