Below please find a 20-cent piece that I acquired for a moderate price a while back.

I'm not necessarily interested in value, as that can be subjective and affected by market conditions, however, please feel free to proffer a value if you'd like.

Please note that I am aware of the obverse scratches, and that it's probable that someone in the coin's past had cleaned it.

Conflicting guidance exists on grading standards pursuant to the 20-cent piece's raised LIBERTY rather than an engraved LIBERTY. For example, Red Book guidance differs from Bower's book Grading Coins by Photograph.

All that said, I'd be curious to know folks' opinions as to grade and/or net grade. Previous assessments have put it at an F-15, while others have put it as high as a VF-30.

    Thanks, kindly

Dude first of all nice 20 cent I just upgraded mine to a VF-25 and I compleatly think that your coin is in the same quality, but unfortunatly your coin looks like it might have been "thumbed."

1GRTtypeset - Thanks for the prompt feedback. Can you clarify please?

Folks - Don't know if it helps, I've attached two more photos without the flash being used.

    Thanks.
