My lcs has a tray of 1921 Morgan’s. Usually I just glance at the tray and move on. Today several minty Morgan’s caught my eye. Picked the only two with mint marks. The 21s has very nice fields and the 21d has a die crack on the reverse. Are these true ms 21’s? These are the best pics I have. They don’t do them justice. Thanks everyone
both regrettably appear to have hairline scratches on both sides.. or more bluntly.. they appear cleaned..
I’m ok with cleaned. They are decently struck for 21’s and I paid a little over melt. I’m happy with them
they both good looking coins, don't get me wrong, I probably own more "cleaned" coins then most here lol
Tomorrow I’ll go back and buy a 21 philly that I think could be proof like. The only reason I didn’t buy it today is that it has some distracting scratches on the cheek of lady liberty. Now I know how rare a proof like 21 is.
If it's in their "junk" silver box, I'm assuming they are asking spot for it. If so, I'd buy them both. That's just me.
