I take horrible coin photos.. and it has nothing to do with the equipment at all (iPhone). I don't have the eye for it - or maybe the patience? Below is one that is in the "OK for CoinTalk posting" category... most are much worse and end up deleted.

Your pics look good to me.
I do not have an iPhone. My success rate would not make a good MLB batting average. When I take the trouble to can it, my phone pics are better.

This pic has a toned coin, an over-cleaned brockage coin and a scale weight. You can recognize the coins, but the pics are not good. A friend sent me his phone photography set-up.

I have the Iphone 12 Pro Max, the photos in the contest was the Iphone 13 which has some better Macro abilites apparently.

This was using the 12 Pro Max.

I do find it's hit and miss.

I have an iPhone XS. My SLR setup definitely does a much better job, but occasionally the iPhone produces some nice photos of AEs. Here are a couple of examples:

I have generally been happy with my iPhone X system. But if you blow up these photos, they get pretty blurry pretty quick. Not high resolution. But for my collecting purposes and for posting here, they seem to be just fine.

I use the OnePlus 7 Pro for taking photos, and they're very hit and miss. Unsurprisingly, the photos are better on larger coins.

Decent photo in my opinion (apart from the little pink dot on the edge of the bottom right of the obverse that I didn't remove properly lol)

An interesting barbarous radiate, with what appears to be a dragon (?) on the reverse

I think it's the bottom of an eagle:

Maybe imitating a Divus Victorinus, but with the eagle reversed? (Not my coin)

Or perhaps more likely it might be imitating a Tetricus obverse paired with a Divus Claudius reverse, which has the eagle in the same direction, and no globe.

    Neat coin, in any case!
