I forgot that I had uncirculated 2020 D Lincoln Penny rolls. I had opened a few because I found a blank planchet and the other one was a Red tone. I am going to enjoy this very long hunt. I will be just looking for a mint state coin.. I hope I get to find one without any marks. Other than that, I dont know if there are any errors. Die chips, die break, MAD, rotated, etc. If you know any errors that I can look for, please let me know =)
Those are all RED. Do you know the difference in copper colors in coins? Here's a chart.. RED is how they look when then are freshly minted. Such as all the new rolls you have.
Oh what fun you'll have, but please don't post everyone with a slight difference and ask if they are an error. LOL
hahaha! Okay please tell me that a 2020 D penny has DDO? Ebay listing has 19 bids on one? If it is a real DDO? I did find a couple that looks like a ddo.
Looks like a whole ton of MD, I see a lot of it (And a clear sign on the Mintmark) also I don't see any notches in the doubling
I see all red cents with lots of NAV Doubling.. I would like to see the blank planchet you mentioned.
sure once i get home. but both sides are blank so its not special. but i havent inspect of there is any markings
Just because they say it's DDO doesn't necessarily mean it's an actual DDO.. The people that bid on such listings are called Bidiots You have so much more to learn.
Remember Arbie, your pics are great but full pics should be included. Pre 1982 will be better for your error searches. Post 1982 contain a million anomalies to one error. They are out there but the search can become feudal. Change your attraction but not your tenacity it's great. Good luck my friend!
I found so many die cracks and die chips. I'm also seeing so many damaged coins that are uncirculated rolls. Most coins in the roll so far has a lot of MD's
