I found it by a train track,but don't just think it got run over by a train because it's too flat and too smooth.I know it's not old because it's half copper and half silver. So maybe someone did it their selves or an error. What do you think?
It got ran over by train. I have seen several dimes ran over by a train and they came out flat and smooth like in your picture.
I know someone (eh-hem) who did this to several coins in their youth, but its technically illegal so I won't reveal my source. All the coins run over were nice and smooth. Your coin was not run over by many trian cars, if it had been, it would have elongated much more....easily twice as long as it is wide
