According to the website, last show was from Dec 29th, so I guess it's a really good question. I haven't caught it since before X-mas, so....anyone have a clue??
yea, i was wondering the same thing. I download the podcast and listen to them in the car, tho I hope that if they do continue, that they get rid of that lame Whitey Ford commerical. I dont care if they replace it Vince the sham-wow guy. Its just getting a little old for me.
They did have the same commercials over and over but maybe that's why they are not around...no sponsership?
Not to mention lame commercials. But there was sooo many of them. More commercials then talk. Although I did start a post about coinchat radio a while back and the link I shared had been hacked by someone. Perhaps there was extended difficulties because of that?
Maybe I missed it, but has anyone done the math on what kind of audience CT might bring. I would imagine you could have several hundred people listening to a an audio broadcast everyday. Maybe more depending on the topic. It seems like there are always at least 100 people on line with CT every time I get online...and that is all day long. I have never been to a coin club, travel to much, but I think this could a little something like that. People giving a presentation on something or just a person talking about important events. Heck, maybe would have that public court option for people to "air" their differences and then a CT community vote. Oh well, I will go back to watching Nascar.
I agree, I think a CT podcast would be very successful. Honestly, the only thing that was a problem was getting people to get online and talk! I just sent a PM to LostDutchman, but if you would be willing to help out with a podcast by being in it, just send me a PM. All you need to do it is a mic, a computer, and downloading the programs necessary to record and talk with everyone else.
So let's speculate here... Not enough sales in ad's? Not enough guest speakers? Not worth the time? I just have to say I miss it and Coin Vault wont make up for it.
