Wow, gorgeous coin. I will bite at 66. Teetering on the 67 ledge. Clean as a whistle. The color looks great, as well.

If it is NGC 66*, if PCGS 66+, if any other 66.

    It's one of my favorites.
    I don't own it. I wish.

I just don't think that I can call this one a 67. It is clean, just doesn't have those frosty characteristics that you find on premium gem Nickels. I am more than happy to put this one in my collection at the grade.

Nice,65 is on the low side, today I would give it a 66+ with a shot at 67 possibly.

@Paddy54 I am amazed that you got the RPM, from those images.

It is really beautiful in hand, You have to love it when a dealer side steps old slabs thinking that they have all been tossed around and never cracked.

Just remember everything elevated has to come back down to reality one day or another, Buy your coins for what they are not what the market is predicting.

MS 65 before looking at any reveal (if there is one)....looks like one that would get the generic MS 65 but has a PQ look to it

Stands to reason its in an old rattler....so at 65 that is at least a point below todays standards.
    I wouldn't break it out...but willing to bet a easy 66 and perhasp a + /* .

As for the rpm. Being spot on...... its been a life time collecting and a gift of recall that I can honestly thank....As for my eyes they are sharp....as a fowler I can recall others in the blind who would remark...
How can you tell at 75 yards what kind of duck is decoying in?
Simple I'm counting wing beats.....as I'm not going to let you shoot a black duck...."not in season."..thinking its an Mallard...... we don't want to be fined for shooting a protected bird.

Yeah, It's staying in the rattler. It is possible to see this in a 66.
As far ar the RPM. There is very little in the photos to identify it.
The MM positioning would be the only way. The Die chips and partial lower S. Are nearly invisible in the photo. I got to say well done!

Ok, I missed this one from Thursday night. I was getting ready to go to a coin show on Friday and then was busy Saturday at the Gold and Treasure show. Just now getting on here. I really like it! I'd call it a MS-65 PCGS Rattler that would be an easy 66 shot 67 today. It's one I would send in to CAC in hopes of a Gold!! Very nice!
