One of my two error coins I own.

Well, I don't own this Kennedy anymore. I sold it to @EvanCrook1 who is just the best.

A nice off center strike, found by a friend of my grandmothers. She was surprised by it's value! She got good money for it, and I made a small margin as well. I really enjoy getting items from laypeople who don't understand/respect them, to find buyers who will treasure the coin. It's so rewarding and exactly why I want to be a seller within this hobby oh-so badly.

    Hi Yall,

Just bought bought my first error from the amazing @Evan Saltis and am getting into the error coin collecting. Might send it off to be graded eventually, but for now it sure looks nice in its 2x2

I think this is Wexlers RPM 002 1968 (S/S West) but I'm not sure with the mint scratches at the throat, and there is some odd looking doubling on LIBERTY.

occasionally the "normal" 98, 99, and 2000 is referred to as type 1 and the wide AM is referred to as type 2.

yea buddy, I couldn't believe the guy only wanted $5 (for all three). I've got six more 2000's but only one 98 and one 99. Will eventually get the 99 graded. Still looking for the close AM 92

Reflecting @Insider’s original post on this thread.

Yeah, it’s just a lamination... but having a lamination on this date/mm is pretty cool.

Here is my favorite error coin for which I paid probably more than market. British India Edward Brockage Rupee PCGS MS63.

Brockages were also called "Lakhi" in India. Lakhi in Hindi meant one in a 100,000 ( 100,000 is an Indian measurement called Lakh), as it was believed that Blockages typically happen once out of 100,000 strikes.
