I don’t think I posted this coin but if I did please forgive my memory. It’s a 1922 Peace Silver Dollar graded by PCGS as a MS-62 with the old green label. Should grade higher but it’s staying in the current slab. A high mintage of 51,737,000, which is the highest of all the Peace Dollars. In fact it’s just over 20 plus million above the next highest mintage.

It has a slightly blemished obverse and a much better reverse.

Morgandude11 As long as it's Silver, I'm listening

Once again, more like a 63 in today’s market. 1922 and 1923 are graded strictly, as so many were minted, with a high survival rate in MS condition.

Nice coin, and holder. Looks like a well struck coin.

And like many Peace and Morgans...maybe coins in general but more with these because of their size/weight...the reverses are typically better than the obverses of the same coins. Think they even did split-grading at one time...a grade for each side.

A very solid example for MS62. As is it's a nice piece of history. I have several MS 62 and MS63 examples of 22 and 23 P in old ANACS 6 digit slabs that are staying right where there are as well. :)

Sometimes it’s just something about those older slabs. :)

A solid 62 IMHO! Of course, when it comes to grading MHO ain't worth much!!!! But it sure is nice!!!!!

Seems like this is the case with so many coins. Any theories why it is? I've been meaning to ask. Maybe 4 out of every 5 coins, the reverse is better. Time spent in old-style albums??

Like you, I would leave it in that slab, no matter the higher grade possibility.

    Hows that BP now?

Leave it alone it's a nice coin as is. It's in an older graded slab, toning naturally, and is definitely a keeper! With the nicks and bruises (marks) I see, I do not believe you would do better in today's TPG market. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you and I do plan on leaving it as is in its current holder with the old green label. Sometimes it’s nice to see a nice coin with a green label.

I haven't collected Peace Dollars. I got mine from my father and then only 4. I got a 1922, 1923, 1923D, and 1923S, then I got 2 2021. I was going to get a 1921 Peace, but the prices were a little more than I can justify to my wife.
