Is there any value whatsoever in buying the $250 presidential bags from the Mint?

    (don't say $250)

Have you done this before? Do you just set yourself up with a good light and a large magnifying glass and look through them?

The other thing is that any premium the bag has will be totally lost once I open it.

And thats the real price you pay.

For me, I don't mind paying for my entertainment when I feel like being entertained however I think the only error I ever found was in a bag of Philly Washington's where I found a couple of "Extra Curl" coins.

All my Sintered Planchets were found in Rolls.

    But.........you know what they say...................

If you don;t look, you'll not find ANYTHING.

Yes, there are cheaper methods but it wasn't always that way (Direct Ship) so each to his/her own.

I just bought a 2010 Kennedy bag. I'm thinking about searching for errors and stuff. It'd be my first time doing this.

    Good Luck!

These are fairly low mintage so I wouldn't expect any massive die cracks or sintered planchets but you never know! Youcould get lucky!

    box or bag?

Do you mean boxes or bags? My $250.00 cost for the dollars came in rolls within a box, not a bag.

errors are not picky about being bagged or rolled! Better luck in bags but one never knows.

    yah $249.100 or $250.
they got no premium the banks are desperate to git rid of them, unopened rolls carry no premium, so do the math. There aint much benefit to buying them...

....they could be found in either. of course if you find them the least expensive way, all the better! :)
