I never had much interest in tokens until I found this. By the way, I'm using my new camera and the picture quality is much better. anyone know about tokens? I googled "Examiner classified Ads" and found that other types were being sold at auctions but all I could find were auction listings. Hoping someone can help!
I don't have a book with this in it, but one sold in 1999 (undisclosed price) where is was described as from "CA Los Angeles".
I see one from the same place sold at a WESTS auction on '05 but haven't been able to see how much it went for. WESTS= Western States Token Society is anyone here a member?
It's a good luck token issued by a newspaper to advertise their classified ads. There have been many papers called The Examiner so it would be very hard to know which one it came from. The swastika would indicate that it was made before the late 1930's, and it looks like it may be dated 1925.
