2021 Virginia Innovation Dollar

Does anyone know if these are generic cars or suspose to represent actual 1960s cars and if so can anyone identify them?

They look like 1960s Chevrolet Impalas.

 

1962 Chevy Impala had 2 taillights and 1963 Chevy Impala had 3 taillights if I remember correctly! Therefore, the top one is a 1963. Not sure which the bottom is but it's one or the other IMO!!!

 

I was going to say Impala’s but you guys best me to it.

 

1960 to 1963 Chevrolet Impala, Biscayne, and convertible Design. At the time it was very popular. Thanks for the fond memory!

 

Top is a 1964 Impala. The bottom appears to also be a '64 but there wasn't an emblem in the center of the grille.

 

Looks like a 63 Impala to me.

 

This is a 64 Impala. Note the top is straight and the '63 dips down in the top center.

 

Yep, 63-64 Chevy Impalas. Wish I still had my '62 convertible that was show-room clean.

I looked, but lost most of my photos when I had to have a new hard drive installed a couple of years ago. I might have a few on my old lap top. I'll look when I have time.

 

Thanks. My '62 was my favorite. My current ride is nice but the Impala SS could really haul butt.
