How do people get thoose 2010 pennys that they on sell :headbang:ebay i keep asking my bank every week they say they cant get them
Your bank can order cents any time they want. They CAN'T specifically order 2010 cents. (Or any other specific date) They will get whatever the Fed has on hand at the time they fill the order and they fill orders using circulated coins first, then new coins. So those who have the new cents tend to be from those areas that have a high draw down from the Fed. In those areas the Fed is more likely to be out of circulated coins and so new coins get sent out. If you don't live in those areas it will be a lot longer before your bank get the new cents.
I just recieved my first 2010 lincoln today in Parma, OH at a gas station. I said parma, Oh because out of all places in Ohio I thought that would be the last place.
I know, I have been asking and asking to try and get some of these rolls from the bank but like others have said, they tell me that cant order those or look at me like they have no idea what I am talking about. Oh well, I am sure I will get some eventually.
Well, I'd appreciate the penny and 3-4 more and willing to pay postage and penny value. I'm a woodworker as well and build a penny of the year built as well as the recipients name. So far all projects are for family and currently a bedroom suite for oldest grandson. Max Latham
I noticed on the US Mint's website that the two roll set for the 2010 cent will be released on April 8th.
