found these 2 coins inside a box

1921 S and 1899. I was looking at my old box of collection and found these two. The grade in bad shape but still over 1 year old coins

Any Vam numbers for them?
(I didn't think the mint was allowed to strike non-vam varieties. )

 

Not really sure. I haven't researched anything regarding these coins. I do not even know what vam and non-vam are hehe. Do you have any good links regarding about dollar coins?

 

Nice honest coins, meaning well worn from being in circulation. I like those.
