1995 GB 2 pence coin help with various raised spots

    Ive checked all error reference sources suggested by CT members but I would appreciate some advice from CT error experts regarding the attached GB 2p coin which has a variety of rasied spots on the obverse & reverse please,

    It is KM#936a, copper plated steel. Plating issue.

    They aren't similar. The OP is caused by a plating issue and corrosion. Your coin is a solid copper alloy. It looks more like a die gouge as I don't see any evidence of a hit or other PMD from the pics

    So is a plating issue PMD or caused during the minting process ?

    Plating issues usually stem from the manufacturing process, then can be exacerbated when struck…imo…Spark
