What are these coins?

    I have one big one, and a few small ones. They are definetly pre. 1700 by the looks of them.

    Asian coins of some sort, But cant tell you anything past that!!

    Cash Coin from China...I could be wrong but the large one is probably fake. I was given one just like it for my birthday. It wasnt sold as real but as a fake. Again, I could be wrong as I know very little about these.

    Both coins are modern machine-made fakes. All Chinese cash coins prior to the late 19th century were cast, not machine made.

    The smaller one has a Ming legend on the obverse - Zheng De Tong Bao. According to Hartill, no coins were issued with this reigb title, only amulets. The reverse has a Qing mint mark - Boo Chiowan - Board of Revenue Beijing.

    The larger coin has the Qing obverse legend Qian Long Tong Bao.

    Zheng de tong bao charms (amulets) have been very popular with the Chinese since Ming times.
