"Red Seal" Addition

Maybe I'm missing something - but why would a collector buy this type of note, with a "red seal" added by a graphic artist?

This doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me - but since I'm not a sophisticated collector - is there some other intrinsic value that I'm missing?

At best a novelty, And really not a good one, What else can i say!

 

Graffiti, but artistically well done graffiti. Value? $1.00 (less the free S/H).

No idea either as I would not purchase it.

 

It appeals to the same kind of people who are suckered into buying gold-plated State quarters, as a "rare and collectible" item, even though any real collector value has been destroyed by the modification.
