1957 D BIE with S in BIE

    has anyone ever seen a MM placed in the design of the coin?

    I've heard rumors of a 1956-D that has a D somewhere in the bust, but have never seen one. 1956-D RPM #8 is a separate MM below the main one. There is a 1953-D that is listed as having a D in the field, but I don't believe it is a true RPM, just a die gouge. See it here:
