This is the third of four coins I bought without a description. On the reverse it looks to me like one soldier with a spear and shield is standing over his fallen enemy. I didn't just post this question. I'm not lazy, I looked around and tried to read the lettering but I can't. Thanks for your help.
Wait ! wait ! Don't tell me. I'll take a stab at it. answer? Constantius II late edit Found this out of perhaps 8 different fallen horseman. from Wildwinds webpage. Credit to Wildwinds for image and info. Looks closest to me Constantius II AE18. D N CONSTANTIVS P F AVG, pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right / FEL TEMP REPARATIO, soldier spearing fallen horseman, wearing Phrygian helmet, reaching backwards. Mintmark ALEΓ. Did I get it right?
Your mint Mark is just about gone. Not that it matters much anyways, it’s a Constantius II FTR, and you could just leave it at that
