Not having a wife, or significant other, I used to blame my dog for purchases, but alas, he is at the rainbow bridge, so now I blame my cat. LOL I think you got a nice coin and would go with a high AU grade.
Okey Dokeys.... She is without a doubt AU as opposed to MS... slight wear but very slight... The part of the grade I don't agree with is........ "Cleaned" I just don't see it... maybe once it's in hand I will but either way This is one of those coins that caught my attention and I "Wanted" regardless of the grade... (hell I've been watching au cleaned's going for 200+ for weeks so I'm damn happy with what I paid for this one lol)
The trouble with judging cleaning from pictures is that angle of photo can hide hairlines. I once had an 1853 With Arrows half dollar that had been cleaned. It had Grey, original looking, toning. At certain angles, you could see hairlines. So photos can hide cleaning lines.
hehe I have a few "cleaned" coins that I honestly detect no signs of cleaning on.. One of which IS headed to NGC for an opinion next month This one to be specific...

I don't expect MS on either AU is where I place both (not sure which of the 2 you were talking about original or the later )
