My wife went to publix yesterday and got this new 2010 cent in her change. I like the reverse. Im going to go to my bank to c if they have some.
I live in Miami florida. And most of the times is hard for me to get coins with the D mintmark most of them are from the P. So I guess that it depends were we live.
Haha and im the opposite, being on the west coast I get mostly "D" coins, getting a "P" is like hitting the lotto sometimes.
I went to three differant banks yeasterday asking for a role of these coins and every time I asked it was like I was slapping the teller in there face for having to get up and check. I was nice and polite the entire time but I guess this is something that they are not used to. To make matters even worse, I did all that and got "The Look" and still did not walk away with any coins. lol Maybe next time.
All the banks should have them soon,so keep ck them.I not to sure about the new design? If I like it out not :kewl:it may look better in hand than photos. but I am sure we will see it for 10-25 yrs or more:eat: Bank teller can help so don't P&O at you!or you will never get the rolls & notes you are wanting. sometimes a little kindness well help to,like thank you, your the best teller in this bank & cheap gift like ,Starbucks coffee or ice cold drink on a hot day has help me many times
This is probably a stupid newb question but what is P&O. Just so you know, I was very nice and polite but I guess they dont get a lot of people in there asking for rolls of new coins.
The "P" coins are from Phiadelphia and don't have a mint mark the "D" mintmark coins are from the Denver mint. The D is just below the date on cents. ( I just reread it did you mean P&O or P&D?) By the way, I love the new reverse. Simple but nice, it reminds me of older coins.
Jello said the bank teller can help so dont P&O at you and I wanted to know what that meant. Thanks for trying to answer
Compared to the Lincoln "commemorative pennies", this design is a little simple indeed. But not actually bad. Would have been better though (IMO) if the obverse and reverse fonts were not that different ... Christian
Ok, Now I do feel like a complete idiot. Sorry for the stupid question.:desk: I should have been able to figure that out. Lol
I sure your not The only dumb question is the one not asked:kewl: there a lot of 2-4 letter acronyms out the & P&O could mean 1-10 or more meanings.it just depends on the subject If your not sure please ask!!! that what most of us are here for if I don't know it I am 100% sure one of the Cointalk members /family will help!!!!
