    Thanks. Forty years ago, they were the focus of my collecting. A good dealer friend of mine looked at them as damaged coins. I paid almost nothing for them.

    This one was clashed with the 1857 half dollar.

    This is a fun coin. The obverse is a DDO. Tough to see but the doubling is on LIBERTY. The reverse has what is called an off center clash. Tough coin to find for the few that go this deep into IHCs.
