Clashed Coins

    Post a coin you bought that has a clash. Here’s one of mine. Look closely, the last photo has the complete head of the princess on the reverse. I turned the coin opposite down to make the clash easy to see.

    This is an Atypical clash due to the clash mark being on the design element instead of the field of the coin.

    This is the lips, chin and neck line on the wing only. It must have hit quite hard.

    This is a fun pair.
    The reverse die of the cent is clashed with the reverse die of the quarter.
    The reverse die of the quarter is clashed with the reverse die of the cent.

    Not a US coin, but the sole reason for buying was the clash! German States, Kingdom of Bavaria.

    love those clashes that are obvious to the naked eye. Well, I wear glasses, so not really "naked." LOL
