An 1865 Nickel Three-Cent Piece. The Red Book has 11,382,000 minted. I went through a small box and this was one of the coins that was in there, along with 12 silver dollars and $10.00 face of junk silver, mostly Mercs but a few Barber Dimes.

I think I am seeing a slight clash.

    What do you think?
    Pretty common on this series.

The earlier dated 3CNs are notorious for clashes.

I had an 1865 that had some monster clashes. I wish I still had it.

I have this 1866. I wanted it just because of the clash.

I have an 1865 3 cent in MS 66 that has such a strong clash that you can read the date on the reverse.
