I was just wondering if anyone has seen a RPM for a 1951 D like this one. It is a D over D. Any idea as to its value. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

With an error like that,no more than $3 maybe. Dependes on the condition too. B12

I have a Cherry pickers book but there is no DD like this in there for the 51 D. Coiuld this be a new error or some Kind of mechanical doubling??

I don't think it's mechanical doubling - looks like an RPM to me. New ones are found all the time. There are quite a few listed on CONECA for this date and mm - check them out for additonal diagnostic clues found on the coin. CLICK HERE Then you'll know if you have a new one or not.

There are 60 different 1951-D RPMs listed by NCADD.

That is a nice RPM. It sounds like you found some good rolls to search. :)
