does this one look like the one with 31/2 legs for 1936? Or is this how they all look? I only have this one that is clear.

here is the front of the nickel.... also where is the L located (or supposed to be located?) Is it under the date? and is it upside down?

You may have that. It does look like it. If it is,it's value is $250 or more. That's not a L it's a F. It stands for James E. FRASER. B12

I don't think so....it looks like it might have been changed to look like it...I see part of the bottom of the leg pointing up....so I say you have a 50-50 chance...get it into a dealer near you and have him tell you.
Don't send it to PCGS or NGC as they would BB but if you (Since you have the coin in hand you can tell better) want to send it off use ANACS...
They are neat coins...I have seen about 5+ since I have been collecting and they are neat to look at and hold.

BB stands for Body Bag....it means that the top grading Co's wouldn't grade it becaues of the damage on the coin....if it turns out that it is real I would suggest that you send it to ANACS for grading....that way if you ever sell it you might get more and more bids because it would be proved that its real.
