grading a coin

    You 1953-S cent would grade MS-63, Red. The color is great, but it has a number of marks and the spot on the obverse. Don't touch the spot no matter what you do.

    Shouldn't he know something about grading by now then? Certainly it would occur to one after two years to learn something about grading. I'll say this, it's the first thing we learned, so we wouldn't get ripped off. Then again, with the TPGs, and ready-made grades, perhaps that emphasis changed. They know more these days about Variety Vista listings than they do how to grade, so I guess I just answered my question...
