Hello everyone, Yesterday evening I got home and even though I was exhausted I knew I had about 2 hours of good sunlight left to metal detect. I challenged myself to find $2.00 or more in coins.. I detected $2.18 Everything and a nut There were 4 Wheat Cents dating 1938, 1941, 1945 and 1957 And I saw this neat Franklin Soccer ball laying in the grass near the area I was detecting. There was no one playing soccer and a few people jogging. So I kicked it toward the exit of the park and took it with me It will be added to my sports ball collection
What would have been better is if you found the other Nut. Nice finds!! Love the Soccer Ball too! Reminds me of his cousin Wilson....
Nickels are the coins I find the least. Many times I don't find them at all. I had my detector set to high tone objects. Was trying for silver but only got the clad and copper. Nickels are on the lower tone range.
You forgot the nut. LOL Might just find a use for that and save yourself the cost of one. And stop stealing children's balls. LOL
