Over the years, I have found hundreds if not thousands of coins that have been lost by unattentive individuals in parking lots, trails, sidewalks, and coin return slots. Anyways, while walking to torts class yesterday, I found a coin that broke the mold of the typical corroded Zincoln or road-rashed nickel, that being a silver quarter that recent storms had exposed by virtue of erosion. Needless to say, I was pretty surprised when I picked up and cleaned it off; my best Campus FOG discovery before yesterday was a 2 euro coin and countless Zincolns.

I never have that kind of luck, the only time i find silver is in a roll not a coinstar or fog find before. Not even a cent on the ground my area is just full of penny pinchers i guess.

I got a 1957 Washington out of a roll yesterday. Very seldom anymore.

Not bad @Inspector43, I actually received a 62 Washington in change at the movie theater earlier this month.

Hope you won't be constantly looking at the ground now and running into things!!! Very nice! Lucky you!

Thanks for the warning, but that’s been ingrained in my head for over a decade now.

You just have a special sense of smell and the eyes of a wolf.

Blame my optometrist, otherwise my eyesight is pretty bad.

Great FOG. I too, usually study the ground more than the other surroundings when I'm out for a walk. Unfortunately, in my neck of the woods, it's usually an old artifact from the mining days, not coins. Still looking for that gold coin some miner lost. LOL
